What are your responsibilities?

 

In this position, you will be the quantitative backbone of acture capital's trading activities and will be further refining our market-leading models. In addition, you will be responsible to:

 

• Research new products or analytics to determine their usefulness especially in the crypto environment

• Identify, track, or maintain metrics for trading system operations

• Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques

• Maintain and modify all analytical models in use, where appropriate

• Define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods

• Devise or apply independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems

• Produce written summaries of research results

• Interpret results of analytical procedures

 

We expect an individual capable of taking ownership with a lets-do-it-mentality that is able to challenge and to promote his team members.

 

 

What are the key job requirements?

 

Education/Experience

• 10+ years of applicable analyst experience ideally within a financial services environment

• MBA or similar advanced degree in mathematics/technology preferred

 

Knowledge/Skills (job function, technical, computer, language)

• Proven subject matter expertise in statistics/mathematics required

• Topic expertise or experience in technology and/or financial services (capital markets) is a strong plus

• Global experience is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word

• Strong working knowledge of project methodologies

• Fluent in English (verbal and written); Additional languages a plus

• Experience in managing teams and stakeholders, and an orientation towards achieving results

 

Job requirements/work environment (including travel, physical demands if applicable)

• Traveling within Switzerland might be required
