What are your responsibilities?

 

In this position, you will be heading our crypto trading desk in Zurich. Additional to managing and building up our team you will be monitoring our flow and will be managing our risk positions on a daily basis. In addition, you will be responsible to:

 

• Study and analyze the market conditions and conduct a detailed research on the financial, social, and economic data and information

• Buy and sell crypto assets by utilizing short- / mid- and long-term algorithmic trading models

• Recommend ideas and suggestions in order to improve the present algorithms or help in the creation of new ones

• Design potential strategies related to trading and determine a course of action that needs to be taken

• Evaluate the risk involved and make appropriate decisions and prepare the relevant reports

• Constantly monitor and review the transactions to verify their accuracy and ensure that they are in conformance with the rules and regulations of the governing organizations

What are the key job requirements?

 

Education/Experience

• 10+ years of applicable trading experience in a capital markets environment

• MBA or similar advanced degree preferred

 

Knowledge/Skills (job function, technical, computer, language)

• Proven subject matter expertise in trading required

• Topic expertise or experience in technology is a strong plus

• Global experience is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word

• Fluent in English (verbal and written); Additional languages a plus

• Experience in managing teams and stakeholders, and an orientation towards achieving results

 

Job requirements/work environment (including travel, physical demands if applicable)

• Traveling within Switzerland might be required

• Strong quantitative analysis skills and related experience

• Strong background in crypto/coin economics is a plus

• Financial/statistical modeling experience

• Familiarity with key concepts and trends in technology
